About Us:

The Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy Clinic, P.A. was established and incorporated in 1981.

The OSPTC was the first independent outpatient physical therapy facility in Maine to meet the requirements and attain Medicare certification. Initially located at 15 Lowell Street in Portland, the clinic was moved to its present location at 1601 Congress Street, Portland in September 1991.

Owned and operated under the direction of Brett Eberle, PT, DPT, the purpose of the OSPTC is to deliver orthopaedic and sports physical therapy services to southern Maine communities. Physical therapy services are delivered with and without the referral of the patients’ physicians under the Rules and Regulations of the Maine Physical Therapist Practice Act. Physical therapy services are directed by licensed physical therapists and treatments are assisted by licensed physical therapist assistants.

Our goal is to deliver high quality physical therapy services to assist patients in attaining their highest functional potential in the face of physical dysfunction and disability.

In order to respect the rights of patients and promote sound professional judgment, the OSPTC physical therapists and physical therapist assistants abide by the American Physical Therapy Association’s Code of Ethics and The Guide for Professional Conduct.
